Anurup Singhal, Mitesh Ashar and Rajat Aggarwala addressed the audience at the event at Kolkata, while the event at Bangalore celebrated its anniversary edition at NSRCEL, IIMB. Sumeet Anand, founder and CEO of Kreeo, and Yusuf Motiwala, CEO of TringMe, gave presentations.

The highlights of Startup Saturday in Mumbai were two concepts in UGC or user generated content/Web2.0 -- oCricket by Brajeshwar Oinam and Inkfruit by Kashyap Dalal.

The American Center in Delhi hosted the Delhi edition of Startup Saturday. The event witnessed speeches and demos by Vishal Chandra, Shishir Jain of Netcellence Technologies, and Nikhil Pahwa of Medianama.

The Hyderabad edition featured a variety of discussions on topics ranging from "How we won our first customer and beyond," to "Creating Support Networks, Databases and Portals for small NGOs and social organisations." Held on the second Saturday of every month, Startup Saturdays are events organised by the HeadStart Foundation to facilitate networking among entrepreneurs and to promote entrepreneurship at the grassroots in India.
