The event will focus on the current volatile market scenario and highlight solutions that entrepreneurs can use to become valued players in the IT business ecosystem.
To help companies fight the global economic slowdown, IVCJ is to present an event on private equity and the Indian IT/ITeS sector. It is to be held on 29th April, 2009, at the Taj Lands End, Mumbai, and is a repeat of a successful edition that IVCJ conducted in 2008. There will also be a workshop on raising venture capital for SMEs on 30th April, 2009, at the same venue. The conference has been designed with a focus on the current market scenario. So, it will try to answer the most relevant questions, such as how equipped venture capitalist/ private equity players are to revive their portfolio companies that could potentially fall prey to the downturn. The conference will look at the emerging trend of protectionism during the downturn, and on the strategies that entrepreneurs can use to get around such hurdles.
Thoughtful insights on emerging areas such as cloud computing, virtualisation, WiMAX, IP software products, SaaS and new KPO models, will make the event more interesting and meaningful. Besides, there will be workshops for students, entrepreneurs, and professionals working in private equity, venture capital and finance.
