G.B. Prabhat is the founder and CEO of Anantara Solutions, the pioneer of Second Generation Outsourcing (SGO), a business model that focuses on delivering a whole bouquet of business benefits that help clients secure a competitive advantage.

G.B. Prabhat

CEO, Anantara Solutions

The vision of second generation outsourcing (SGO), and hence of Anantara, is to eliminate the extreme fragmentation that characterises the IT outsourcing and consulting industry today by destroying the entrenched borders between clients and service providers, service providers and service providers, and those between disparate technologies. Hence the name of the company, 'Anantara', which, in Sanskrit means 'the continuum' or 'without interstices', which explains the tagline of the company: 'the power of the continuum'. The realisation of this vision would dramatically revise the state of both the global consulting industry and the global IT outsourcing industry.

My aspiration is that Anantara should become a world-leading, revered company that integrates consulting and IT services into one package, whose sole aim is improving clients' business performance. Anantara will also, hopefully, lead the world in establishing a new business order - the company as a community. With the growth of the Anantara Ecosystem, we expect to be able to orchestrate the world's most powerful community of service providers. Anantara should become synonymous with innovation in the outsourcing industry.

More importantly, Anantara should become an institution that is proud of its human capital. The Anantara Credo is a combination of the rational and the emotional. Every employee at Anantara is called an Anantsol (coined from 'Anantara Solutions'). The credo lays the foundation for the mother of all our goals: 'To build a company of happy Anantsols.'
