IntelliPower adjusts the balance of spin speeds, transfer rates, and caching algorithms for optimal performance and power consumption, while IntelliSeek optimises seek speeds and enables lower power consumption, noise, and vibration.

With all this on board, the drive could pose a serious threat to Seagate's Barracuda 7200.11, which can store up to 1.5 terabytes.
