In an attempt to grab a large share of the rapidly expanding mobile gaming market, Sony Ericsson has launched a handset designed for gaming--the F305. The handset comes with Motion Gaming, a feature that allows users to control games with the flick of a wrist or the swing of an arm, and then lets them see the results on the screen. The phone comes with advanced motion sensor technology that enables it to follow user actions such as a bowling swing or casting a fishing line.
The handset also includes stereo speakers, and claims to offer up to eight hours of gameplay. If that proves insufficient, users can attach the Power Pack CPP-100 to their phones to receive an instant battery power boost.
On the non-gaming side, the F305 features a 2.0 megapixel camera, supports WAP 2.0 xHTML for the Internet, and offers Bluetooth connectivity as well as expandable memory.
