Google_busPeople in Tamil Nadu can now board a bus and learn to surf the Net. Google has launched an initiative called the Google Bus, to educate common people in Tamil Nadu about the Internet.




The bus is fitted with a number of computers that are connected to the Internet, and its mission is to deliver education, information, communication and entertainment to the masses. Those who board the bus can watch demos displaying how life can be made simpler by using tools such as Internet search, e-mail, social networking, maps and others functions. The bus will travel across all major cities in Tamil Nadu, disseminating information about the Internet, in both English and Tamil.
